Help Sierra Club continue our fight against toxic tar sands! Kansas and Oklahoma Sierra Clubs will host a joint rally to fight toxic tar sands in Wichita, Kansas, 2-4 p.m., on Saturday, May 17. National Sierra Club is promoting this event as “Hands Across the Land, Hands Across the Sand.” The goal is to keep the pressure on: NO to the northern route of Keystone XL Pipeline. No to Flanagan South coming into Osage County, Oklahoma. NO to toxic tar sands. Wichita is only 2 ½ hours away. Let’s carpool! Meet us at 9:45 a.m. and leave at 10 a.m. from the WalMart parking lot at East 15th and I-35 in Edmond, OK (just north of Okla City).
